Inside Service Technician

Our employees enjoy stable employment, promote from within, above average compensation, RRSP/DPSP plan, and group benefits. We are currently looking for a Inside Service Technician – Pump and Motors to join our team. Types of serviced equipment can include electric pumps, motors, fans and blowers.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Investigate issues with in-shop repair of customer equipment.
- Static and dynamic balancing of impellers and blower wheels.
- Diagnostic testing of pumps and motors .
- Minor machine shop work such as impeller trimming.
- Parts cleaning and cabinet sandblasting.
- Mechanical seal and bearing replacement.
- Complete estimates and repairs of electric pumps, motors, fans and blowers.
- Pump assembly and testing.
- Provide detailed information about repairs completed to the Service Coordinator.
- Complete all appropriate paperwork on-time, clearly and legibly.
- Care and maintenance of company tools as defined in Policy and Procedure manual.
- Communicate all issues to the Inside Service Foreman.
Qualifications:
- Millwright, EMST or other relevant journeyman certificate. 3rd or 4th year Apprentice will be considered if experience is relevant.
- Computer literate in both desktop and mobile applications (Microsoft Word and Excel).
